Kelly Neidert, the fervent anti-LGBTQ bigot and self-described “Christian fascist” who recently organized and led a lawless protest outside of a Dallas drag queen event, appeared on an antisemitic Holocaust denier’s podcast last month to rail against the LGBTQ community.

Neidert has also appeared repeatedly on various right-wing media outlets to defend her actions as a conservative student activist. Neidert has been on Fox News, One America News, Newsmax, Infowars, and the QAnon-linked Real America’s Voice.

Neidert was a guest on the May 6 edition of The AFP Report, a podcast presented by American Free Press. American Free Press is a website that was created by white nationalist, neo-Nazi, and Holocaust denier Willis Carto in 2001.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Carto is “infamous for his pro-Nazi and rabidly anti-Jewish views” and for founding the Liberty Lobby, “which billed itself as a conservative, anti-Communist group but became known for its advocacy of both white supremacy and anti-Semitism.”

American Free Press has a history of pushing antisemitic conspiracy theories about Jewish people, a “New World Order,” and Israel.

On the show, Neidert spoke with Holocaust denier and host John Friend about their shared hatred of the LGBTQ community and Neidert’s time as a conservative student at the University of North Texas.

Friend is a regular at white nationalist gatherings and has described Jewish people as “the most vengeful, evil monsters of all times” and said they “are trying to exterminate [the white race].” Friend also described the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as “the Holohoax Museum” and falsely claimed that the Holocaust “is a total fraud.”

Neidert was recently suspended from Twitter for tweeting about “rounding up” people who participate in Pride Month events.

On the podcast, Neidert and Friend did not hold back their dogmatism. Friend described gay and trans people as “deviant” and “frankly disgusting,” while Neidert said legalizing gay marriage would lead to “legalizing pedophilia.”

Neidert went on to suggest that because there has been an increase in the number of Gen-Z adults identifying with the LGBTQ community, young generations are “being groomed.” Neidert’s grooming comments are part of the right-wing playbook to label LGBTQ people as pedophiles.

Neidert is the executive director of Protect Texas Kids, an anti-LGBTQ nonprofit that describes itself as “protecting kids from the toxic, indoctrinating agenda of the left” in an effort to “fight back” against critical race theory, gender-affirming care, and undefined “anti-American sentiments.”
