HARRIS FAULKNER (ANCHOR): And you're in line somewhere, and nine people around you don't have a mask. And there is science that shows that a two-way protection exists with mask wearing. What do you about that? When you let all these people go back to work? And I mean, I fear for the greeters at some of these companies, these grocery stores. I fear for them, because I've seen people just get nuts in line about something that's so simple.
RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): I think that there is some debate about — even within the scientific community — about whether masks are good or not. I trust people. I trust parents —
DAGEN MCDOWELL (ANCHOR): There's no debate.
FAULKNER: You don't want to protect people who are elderly?
MCDOWELL: There's no debate.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: And I believe that we know enough about this virus to know, who is the most in danger. And that is those who have comorbidities, those who are elderly. And we ought to focus on protecting them. And we ought to not — realize, Harris —
FAULKNER: So if you're in line, everybody's trying to get in during the senior hours, and there's some people who are with the seniors, who don't want to wear masks, what do you do?
CAMPOS-DUFFY: But Harris —
FAULKNER: Look, I'm just trying to break it down. Because I agree, we've got to get back to work.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: I agree, but I have to say this one point, Harris. I have to say this one point. There are consequences to poverty and economic depression that we are not considering, that maybe — and I believe are more serious than the chance of getting COVID, which 99% of the people will recover from. We need to start thinking about the economic consequences of throwing our economy into a great depression.
