Fox “News” Airs GOP Ad Based On Sean Hannity's Luntz-Approved Campaign Slogan

Fox isn't even trying to hide its role in helping elect Republicans this time out.

In March, Sean Hannity “unveiled” what he called his "new slogan for 2012":

GOP message guru Frank Luntz quickly gave Hannity's “effective” tagline the thumbs up.

Alas, Luntz cautioned, candidates could not use Hannity's Luntz-approved battle cry. Hannity protested this attempt to curtail his on-air GOP sloganeering. After all, that's what Fox News does.

But that's the “opinion” side of Fox News. The “news” side of the operation had to wait until the Republican National Committee actually created an ad using language eerily similar to Hannity's slogan in order to give it free air time:
