Yesterday, I pointed out that Sarah Palin had taken to twitter to defend Dr. Laura Schlessigner after Dr. Laura announced that she would end her radio show in the wake of the firestorm that followed her racially charged rant. Palin urged Dr. Laura, “don't retreat...reload!” and commented that Schlessinger would be “even more powerful & effective w/out the shackles.”

Today, civil rights leader Al Sharpton said on Twitter that Palin's defense of Schlessinger is “telling,” commenting, “Reload what? The N Word?”:
