“A Form of Dictatorship”: Conservative Media Lie About Obama's Refusal To Defend DOMA

The right-wing media is up in arms over the Obama administration's decision to cease it's defense of the Defense of Marriage Act, claiming the move is “a form of dictatorship” and is illegal. In fact, presidents from Jefferson to George W. Bush have opted against defending statutes they viewed as unconstitutional.
