Calling Sandy Hook families he's targeted “pawns,” Alex Jones speculates about medical conditions that they may have

As Neil Heslin testified in the case, Jones lashed out at him again on his show

Neil Heslin, who Jones targets in this clip from his show, testified in the trial about the “living hell” that Jones had put him through since his child was murdered. As The Associated Press reported:

In more than an hour of emotional testimony during which he often fought back tears, Neil Heslin said he has endured online abuse, anonymous phone calls and harassment on the street.

“What was said about me and Sandy Hook itself resonates around the world,” Heslin said. “As time went on, I truly realized how dangerous it was. ... My life has been threatened. I fear for my life, I fear for my safety.”

Heslin said his home and car have been shot at, and his attorneys said Monday that the family had an “encounter” in Austin since the trial started and have been in isolation under security.

Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the parents of 6-year-old Jesse Lewis, have sued Jones and his media company Free Speech Systems over the harassment and threats they and other parents say they have endured for years because of Jones and his Infowars website. Jones claimed the 2012 attack that killed 20 first-graders and six staffers at the Connecticut school was a hoax or faked.

ALEX JONES (INFOWARS HOST): In Texas, we said we'll allow it to go forward, but we've got to get into the protection of bankruptcy because you people admit your plan is to bankrupt us and destroy us and silence us.

Not help these pawns, these parents that they have manipulated into being part of this anti-First Amendment, anti-Second Amendment attack.

And I've got to say this. I've now met Neil Heslin and his ex-wife. Those people are real, once I saw them in person. Lot of anomalies, the government lies so much, we have a right to question things. I thought Jussie Smollett was a lie. I said it first, went out on a limb. I was right. Most of the time, I'm right. We saw anomalies, I wasn't the first to bring up the anomalies. Some of the anomalies turned out to be a fraud.

I've spent days literally seven feet, eight feet away from Heslin because we're sitting right there, they're sitting right there. That guy's real, and I thought it was an act when I saw some of the stuff on TV just because he came off as so – let's just say, he's a nice man and it's not an act, he is being manipulated by some very bad people.

I'll just say it because I've got to be honest. He's slow, OK? And his ex-wife is not. I don't think he's stupid. I'm just saying he's – I've got family members that are really smart in a lot of ways, but they're just real kind of quiet and have this way about them and they move at a different pace. Like, they're fast in some ways and slow in others and he's – I think Heslin acts like somebody on the spectrum and that makes me feel like an ever bigger jerk, but when I saw him, I'm like there's something about this guy. This doesn't look – and now that I've been around him for over a week, I'm like OK, now I know, and folks, I don't have some calculated point just bringing that up here. It's just that I'm around these people, and I'm looking at it, and I'm watching what's being said and what's going on and it really then makes it clear what happened.
