Donald Trump on Fox & Friends: “The media's very dishonest,” and the NY Times “is totally corrupt”

President Trump continues smearing the media a week after a Wash. Post journalist was reportedly assassinated in Saudi Arabia

From the October 11 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

DONALD TRUMP (PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES): Let me tell you about leaks. I think a lot of the leaks are not leaks, they're made up by the newspapers. The media's very dishonest, with, of course, Fox & Friends is excluded, OK? But the -- I won't exclude Fox totally, but I will exclude Fox & Friends. No, the media's very, very dishonest, beyond anything that anybody can understand. Now, even the [anonymous op-ed] written to the Times, there is a chance, I don't say it's a big chance, but there is a very good chance that that was written by the Times, and if it wasn't, it would be a low-level -- thousands of people qualified for that heading. And the Times said, we did scrutiny and we found out who this person was. Well, that means it's not a major player because they know all the players, they know who they are.

But I wouldn't be that surprised because the Times is totally corrupt and dishonest. I wouldn't be that surprised, what they write is so -- so -- forget it, every day I have articles, every single day.
