GRANT STINCHFIELD (HOST): Let me ask you about the alleged assault. I have a hard time coming forward and saying what I just said about the boys tackling her off the bed. So, look, just a little history from me. I’m on the board of the Conference on Crimes Against Women. We bring in hundreds of law enforcement officers to Dallas to help investigate crimes and they go through seminars to help them solve crimes against women. I did some work with New Friends New Life, a group here in Dallas that helps women get out of the sex trade industry. I feel very strongly about men using power over women, especially for sexual exploitation. I have absolutely no tolerance for it.
But when you talk about 17-year-old boys at a house party and everybody’s here, there -- she says there was no skin contact, there was no any of that. Boys tackling people off a bed then running away. I’m sorry, but that is not a federal crime or even a state crime. That’s hijinks for boys. And I’m going to get in trouble for saying it, but it is.
