Fox's Stuart Varney: Report of sexual assault against Kavanaugh “is how you slime a good man”

STUART VARNEY (HOST): Delay, obstruct, and derail. That is the Democrats' strategy employed against Judge Kavanaugh. It may succeed. As of now, we don't know when a vote on his nomination will take place. We don't know the outcome of accusations made against him. The left has successfully created what might be called Kavanaugh chaos.

Here is an eminently qualified jurist who has undergone 32 hours of public questioning, answered more than a thousand written questions, and met one-on-one with senators from both sides of the aisle. After all of that, Brett Kavanaugh, at the very last minute, was accused of sexual misconduct. His accuser is not sure when or where the alleged incident took place, but it was at least 30 years ago. But she says she will not appear before Congress until the FBI has investigated.

This is how you slime a good man. Make an allegation, but refuse to answer questions about it. This is how you delay. Make an allegation at the very last minute and demand another investigation.
