DOOCY: The Republicans delivered against long odds and, ultimately, the swamp. I mean, the swamp, and Pete, you've lived down there.

PETE HEGSETH (CO-HOST): Yeah.

DOOCY: You know what it's like. There are lobbyists and there are large forces that try to get the Congress to do certain things because they've got a financial and political interest in them.

HEGSETH: You are exactly right.
