Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck complain about Media Matters drawing attention to the fact they are bad for business

From the November 3 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' The Glenn Beck Program:

GLENN BECK (HOST): So Bill, I want you to hear something because anybody who is been in the right knows that we are constantly under attack and they list our sponsors and people who have never sponsored the show, and they track who is dropping, etc. etc. Listen to Katy Griffin on TMZ, listen to this.

[BEGIN AUDIO]

KATHY GRIFFIN: When the Trump mask photo came out, why did TMZ need to report every single one of my shows that was canceled in real time. Why, what was the point of that? What do they care if I had a show canceled at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey? It feels targeted. And now that we know Harvey Levin --

[END AUDIO]

BECK: Really, stop. It feels targeted. She feels targeted, Bill.

BILL O'REILLY: You know, this woman must live in Bangladesh. That's where her permanent residence must be. This has been going on for how long, Beck? This Media Matters --

BECK: Oh, it was started by the Clintons in 2000 I believe.

O'REILLY: This has been going on -- and she's just checking this out now that it has hit her. It's a horrible, disgraceful part of the American landscape that corporate sponsors give into this kind of blackmail, “if you don't do what we say, and we're crazy, it's not like we're fair, then we'll try to hurt your business.” The best example of this that everybody knows is Ivanka Trump and Nordstroms. That was so outrageous, so outrageous that they threaten Nordstroms if they didn't drop Ivanka Trump's clothing line. For what reason? Ivanka Trump was just -- what was she doing? Helping her father? And Nordstrom gave into it. I mean, that was the end. So Kathy Griffin, you know, I think the woman is -- well forget it, it’s not important. Forget it, forget it, forget it.

BECK: You just watch her and you can think all kinds of things yourself.

O'REILLY: I don't like kicking people when they are down. I don't like that. She is down --

BECK: I just found it so unbelievably – naïve, self-inflicted naiveté, to where she is thinking that people aren’t targeted in America. Are you kidding me?

O'REILLY: I think she missed the Ivanka Trump thing or the O'Reilly thing. They did it to me too, and they did it to you.

BECK: They did it to me, they did it to Sean Hannity, they've done it to Rush Limbaugh -- I mean, give it a rest.
