MSNBC's Scarborough: Bridgegate Is “A Positive” For Chris Christie If He's Trump's Running Mate

From the July 14 edition of MSNBC's Morning Joe:

JOE SCARBOROUGH (CO-HOST): I think it's probably Newt [Gingrich] and [Mike] Pence.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI (CO-HOST): Really?

SCARBOROUGH: I think it should --

BRZEZINSKI: I think it's Newt and [Chris] Christie.

SCARBOROUGH: I think it should be Christie, right? I think without a doubt it should be Christie. [Donald Trump] says he's not looking for an attack dog. Chris Christie can prosecute the case against Hillary Clinton better than anybody else. And, you know, people worried about the bridge. I actually see that as a positive. You bring up a bridge investigation and then you go, “Oh yeah, OK yeah, they investigated me for closing one lane. They investigated Hillary Clinton for actually putting America's national security at risk. OK, let's talk about those investigations. I'll talk about them every day and we'll be just fine.”
