PAUL ALEXANDER (GUEST): A really distasteful ad and frankly, in terms of his national communications, a very underwhelming campaign thus far being run by Governor DeSantis.
STEVE DEACE (HOST): Anybody want to address that before I do?
TODD ERZEN (CO-HOST): It's completely wrong. The LGBT community is hunting our children for grooming purposes and dismemberment. Apologize for nothing, step on the gas even harder. He understands what time it is. And there's simply no time to be anything but utterly honest, that if you have these people on their heels and losing more than they're winning, that's a victory. Period, end of sentence.
AARON MCINTIRE (CO-HOST): Other than the last sentence there talking about the messaging nationally, were you -- was that a criticism of DeSantis? Because you were actually selling me.
ERZEN: Yeah. I know.
DEACE: Yeah. I thought it was the best thing they had done yet as a campaign from a messaging standpoint until what they rolled out yesterday with Casey DeSantis, which was just one of the best ads I've ever seen.
