Mary Holland suggests to Steve Bannon that there could be an acting director of the CDC or “Kennedy's team will simply be sort of overshadowing things”

MARY HOLLAND (CHILDREN'S HEALTH DEFENSE): Well, Steve, remember that this was not Bobby's first choice, right? The first choice for the president and Secretary Kennedy was Doctor Dave Weldon. Dave Weldon had been in Congress for many years and had been outspoken that we don't have platinum level science about vaccines. He was not able even to get a hearing, right? He was nixed and so Monarez was the second choice, and she definitely has a deep state background, right?
She's been involved in gain of function, bioweapons research for a long time, but she had a lot of skills that seemed interesting, among them AI, data analysis, because one of the things that Kennedy has to do right now is look at these millions of medical records to see what is causing autism, what is causing the chronic health epidemic. But apparently there was a showdown this past week and she would not — what it sounds like from what we know is she would not fire these top level people who are absolutely vaccine zealots, right? This guy for Mpox and these other people. She wouldn't fire them and she seems to be digging in her heels, and there's a lot coming down the pike, right?
So Bobby Kennedy just ended the emergency use authorizations for the Pfizer, Moderna, Novavax shots. That means there's not the same kind of liability shield that they had under the PREP Act. That's big. There's also a really important lawsuit before the CDC right now saying you guys are de facto creating these national mandates for kids and you've never tested the science for the whole vaccine program. We should be saying it's really up to the doctors and the families. You can't be doing what you're doing. There's no basis for you basically creating this national mandate. So there's a lot coming down on the pike, and I think Monarez made it really clear she's not on board. And I think Kennedy said, OK, well then you got to move on out.
And I think it's a real opportunity, Steve. We don't really know what's next. You're absolutely right that Cassidy and Kennedy seem to be somewhat at loggerheads, so maybe there's going to be an acting director of CDC. Maybe there won't be a director of CDC and Kennedy's team will simply be sort of overshadowing things. I don't know. I don't know what's next. It is a threshold moment.
STEVE BANNON (HOST): Go back to this — folks, we got to get focused on this because this is big.
HOLLAND: It is.
BANNON: We're either gonna go one direction or the other on this moment.
HOLLAND: Correct.
BANNON: So I want to go back just two things. Explain to the audience when the President of the United States designates a guy like Bobby Kennedy, he's gonna be HHS, and Bobby Kennedy then designates a guy like Doctor Dave Weldon, who's a former member of Congress, he's gonna run CDC, explain to the audience what it means he can't get a hearing. What does that mean? I mean, because this is what happened, they completely went nuts and just shut it down. But what does that mean to people? Explain it.
HOLLAND: So, you know, we understand that Big Pharma has a lot of influence in the swamp and in Washington. And so among the many things that President Biden did before leaving office was he ensured that the head of the CDC, for the first time, needed Senate confirmation. And so that then gave the hand to Senator Cassidy as the head of this Health committee to really have a major role in who gets confirmed. This is the first time. I mean, you know, I, in my view, the head of the HHS should be able to appoint his own team, but that's the reason that Dave Weldon got nixed because it was clear he didn't have the votes.
BANNON: Yeah, but he wouldn't, I mean, they wouldn't even, you know, they wouldn't even let him go and have a hearing from the American people. That's what gets me so much.
HOLLAND: They wouldn't even listen. That's exactly right.
BANNON: Now, I want to go mainstream media because, you know, they follow the show closely. They're gonna jump on, oh, this is Mary Holland, who's co-head of the cult for Bobby Kennedy, calling some of the finest professionals that ever served the American people at CDC vaccine zealots. Can you, can you put a little flesh on that bone? What do you mean by that, ma'am?
HOLLAND: What I mean by that, Steve, is what Bobby Kennedy is demanding is, as you called it, platinum level science. I think he usually says gold standard science. The reality is not the COVID shots, nothing on the childhood schedule, none of this, none of the shots altogether, not the recommendations for six month olds to get COVID shots earlier or even for high risk, none of that is backed up by real science.
Real science is you have an unvaccinated control versus the vaccinated group, and then for schedules you have a long term study that looks at all these things together. None of that's been done. It's been called out by the Institute of Medicine repeatedly that they don't have the science, and yet these high-level people in the CDC are gung ho, do the vaccines, keep the program going, keep the liability shield, they're safe and effective, they save lives. That's a mantra, that's an ideology. It's not science.
BANNON: What do you mean — before I let you go — What do you mean you think they'll slide in an interim director and what is this relationship? Why is Cassidy, who is probably the least supportive of President Trump on many issues in the United States Senate, why is Cassidy such a big player here, ma'am?
HOLLAND: I think he's such a big player because he is a Republican, he is the chair of the Health committee and he is a physician and he is very pro-vaccine. He is very, very pro-vaccine and that's not gonna change. So it's not clear what's going to happen, Steve. I think we have to stay tuned. I'll be happy to come back and try to deconstruct it as we go.
