JORGE DÍAZ-DÍAZ [HOST]: This news of Gregory Bovino's withdrawal came on the same day that President Trump announced that he is bringing in border czar Tom Homan to lead operations in Minnesota. Mr. Gregory Bovino is going to leave Minnesota. He's going to take on other functions nationally, but now the visible face of Minnesota operations, and it doesn't mean ICE is gone from Minnesota. Liberals are saying, 'victory.' That's not what this is about.

On the contrary, it's now Tom Homan who's going to be leading the efforts and is going to be the visible face of operations in Minnesota. It's like changing leadership, but ICE is still going to be in Minnesota. Which means they're looking into what happened on Saturday, and they want to somehow refresh the image of ICE in Minnesota. It's a change, but Tom Homan is just as or even more energetic than Gregory Bovino, so it's just a change of face, but I think the policies are going to be the same, because in the end, ICE can't do anything else, because they are complying with the law.
