Is this worth all of the attention? Perhaps as it involves Sarah Palin and one of the best known non-fiction authors, Joe McGinniss.

The latest is Palin building a fence outside of her Wasilla, Alaska, home after McGinniss rented the house next door as part of the research for a book he is doing on the former governor and 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate.

Response to the move has ranged from The Washington Post's Ruth Marcus criticizing McGinniss to her colleague, Greg Sargent, telling Palin to essentially lighten up.
