ROB FINNERTY (HOST): My question to you is, Liz, with impeachment - this is the first time we haven't had the Chief Justice presiding. John Roberts, you know, Chuck Schumer called him. Private phone call, you won't hear about it on the other networks, but Chuck Schumer called John Roberts and John Roberts said no thank you, no way. And to me, I'm certainly not an attorney, but to me that's the Supreme Court ruling saying this thing is not legit.

LIZ MAIR (GUEST): That's not a Supreme Court ruling. I am a recovering attorney, I'm not currently practicing. But no, that's not what that is. What that is is, I believe, John Roberts is saying that because now that it's moved to the Senate, not when the original impeachment was done - the president was president when the original impeachment was done. But now that it's in the Senate, I think he's saying that under the Constitution, he's not really sure that he's the best person to oversee that. Whereas, apparently, now we have Patrick Leahy, which I think is very unfortunate for Democrats because he doesn't really seem to have it together fully as we saw the other day. Clearly much as the president's own lawyers don't seem to have it together.
