From the March 30 edition of MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports:
ANDREA MITCHELL (HOST): Fox News feeling a financial backlash to host Laura Ingraham's social media attack on Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg. The seven sponsors, now including names like Johnson & Johnson and Trip Advisor, are responding to the calls from consumers saying that they no longer want their ads to run during Ingraham's show. David Hogg joins me now by phone. David, first of all, tell me how you're doing because you've been facing a lot of social media reaction to all of this. Do you accept Laura Ingraham's apology? She did apologize, issuing a statement on Twitter.
Are you ready to return to the show?
DAVID HOGG: No, I'm not because she only apologized after a third of her advertisers dropped out. She's gone after Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and multiple other people that she's bullied. When she went to Dartmouth, she tried exposing gay individuals at her school by sending in an undercover reporter, and that's just deplorable. She is a bully and she needs to be held accountable. I don't care who you are or what title you have, a bully is a bully, and they must be held accountable. And I think that's really what we're trying to do here.
MITCHELL: Well, she would of course say that she's apologized and asking if you are willing to take that apology, but apparently you are not.
HOGG: No because realize this, in the same tweet where she apologized to me, she tried promoting her show at the same time, and I just found that sickening.
