LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Well, [Donald Trump] did reject Bushism, and the people accepted what Donald Trump said, so in that case, I guess, it's not surprising that the Bushes don't endorse. I mean, you would think that if you want to get on board with where the country is, then you would say, “Look, we made some mistakes, but we're going to work with this new exciting coalition of voters, and, gosh, if we can have some influence on Donald Trump that would be great, but we respect the will of the people.” I mean, you would want that I guess, but that’s just not how it’s going to work. By the way, [Sen.] Jeff Flake (R-AZ), and I emphasize the word flake, Jeff Flake said that Trump's idea of the wall -- they just played it on CNN -- is “nutty.” “Nutty,” he said. But it's not nutty to let millions and millions of people over the years cross the border illegally or overstay their visas. Is that nutty? Or is just actually defending your border nutty? I'm really of the viewpoint now that all of you have some work to do. OK, I know it’s the weekend coming up, but you have some work to do. What am I talking about? I think you have to all call your congressmen and senators and say, “get on board the Trump train. Get on board or get out of the way.” Is it really helpful now to have Republicans threatening third party runs or giving Hillary Clinton soundbites for commercials? And if you think it’s not helpful then it's incumbent upon all of you voters to speak your mind, let your voices be heard, and tell people like Paul Ryan look, we want this, we want the party to be unified, and that means you have to support who we chose as the party’s nominee. He's the speaker of the House for the Republican Party, for the Republican coalition on Capitol Hill. He only represents one district in Wisconsin. And remember, again, you all know, personally I really like Paul Ryan, but when you ran with [Mitt] Romney you couldn’t even help Romney win your home state. He lost Wisconsin in 2012. I'm not even saying that's a horrible -- but he just won 27 states. 27 states.
