HUGH HEWITT (HOST): This morning The Washington Post reports that all across the Midwest preparations are underway in neighborhoods, on farms, and at homeless shelters. Nearly 90 million people are likely to experience temperatures at or below zero in the Midwest. Twenty-five million of them will face temperatures of below minus 20. Dips that combine with wind can frostbite in a matter of minutes. And there's airline flight cancellations, there are declarations of emergency, Postal Service interruption. Meanwhile Bill Nye the climate hysteria guy went on Hardball with Chris Matthews last night -- Bill Nye the climate hysteria guy first had this to say about all the consequences of climate change, climate hysteria in full display here.

HEWITT: Now, what Bill Nye the climate hysteria guy doesn't tell you is that the world produces 17 percent more food per person today than it did 30 years ago. We have an abundance of food. The distribution is not good, we have people who are hungry. Part of the Christian mission is to feed the hungry and there are a lot of hungry people in the United States and around the world. But we produce enough food, and we're going to keep producing enough food because science advances along with climate adaptation and mitigation. And so hysteria does not help.
