From the December 14 edition of Salem Radio Network's The Hugh Hewitt Show:
HUGH HEWITT (HOST): The showdown is coming on the border wall. And the saddest news of the morning is that a 7-year-old girl died of dehydration after she and her dad hiked across the desert -- the border. She did not get in the arms of the Border Patrol in time to save her life. Now, I think that is about the most complete argument for building a long, strong, double-sided fence across every passable mile of the Mexico-United States barrier in order to deter people from making that trip and dying in the process. Others will say, “Oh look what we've done, the Americans have killed this girl.” No, if they had built this wall as they promised to do in 2006, or a fence or a border barrier, call it whatever you want, that girl would not have made that trip.
