GREG KELLY (HOST): So for a long time, they pretended that Biden was normal, the dominant media. And they're pretending that this is normal when it is not. This must be — there's got to be an intervention here, right? Politically and maybe otherwise to stop her and get her help. She is not qualified. She can't do it. And it's obvious. Now, she was in Philadelphia. Similar performance. The guy asked a basic question, she tells stories about golf courses or lawns or whatever the hell. What will you do for the economy? She's trying to figure it out. Whatever. And finally gets to the crux, the crux, the very first thing she's going to do to help out the economy is this.

[CLIP BEGINS]

KAMALA HARRIS (VICE PRESIDENT): Well, another, plan that I have that is a new approach is to expand the child tax credit to $6,000 for young families for the first year of their child's life — because that is obviously a very critical stage of development of a child. And a lot of young parents need the help to buy a car seat or a crib or clothes for their kids. And so my approach is about new ideas, new policies that are directed at the current moment. And, also, to be very honest with you, my focus is very much in what we need to do over the next ten, twenty years to catch up to the 21st century around, again, capacity, but also challenges.

[CLIP ENDS]

KELLY: Capacity but also challenges. All right. All the stuff, all the challenges we have in our hands, the very first thing, the most specific thing she has is this tax credit. Why? So people can get themselves a car seat, a crib, and baby clothes. You could talk to a million people in America and ask them, what are your top concerns? Not one person would say — I don't think one person would say this stuff. I just don't know. Maybe I'm being chauvinistic. Maybe I'm being a lot of things right now. But I think I'm right. You do too.
