Hoft attacks Obama for saying he “reads the Bible and prays every night”

In a November 27 post, Jim Hoft attacked President Obama for discussing during an interview with Barbara Walter how "[p]raying and reading the Bible are part of his everyday life." Hoft wrote: “Barack Obama told Barbara Walters that he reads the Bible and prays every night. ...Sure you do.” He went on to reference Obama's former pastor Jeremiah Wright and to revive the discredited claim that during a 2008 interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, Obama admitted “he was a Muslim.” From Hoft's November 27 Gateway Pundit post, titled “Obama: I Read the Bible and Pray Every Night (For G*ddam America?)”:

Barack Obama told Barbara Walters that he reads the Bible and prays every night.
...Sure you do.

Praying and reading the Bible are part of his everyday life, President Obama said in a wide-ranging interview broadcast Friday.

At least he didn't tell the reporter he was a Muslim this time.
