Fox's Harris Faulkner blames Maxine Waters for bombs sent to Democrats

Rep. Waters encouraged people to confront Trump officials over family separation policy. Faulkner claims she “called for the attacks of those people with whom you don't agree.”

ADRIENNE ELROD (CO-HOST): I'm simply trying to lay out to why there is so much anger and frustration in this country right now on both sides. Because we do have policy differences and that's what we need to do is focus on having a policy discussion, as opposed to tossing around hateful rhetoric. And look, the president of the United States' words do matter --

LISA KENNEDY MONTGOMERY (CO-HOST): That's really interesting because Hillary Clinton says we can't step aside from the hateful rhetoric until Democrats have bullied their way --

ELROD: She was talking about policy.

...

HARRIS FAULKNER (CO-HOST): What was Congresswoman Maxine Waters talking about, what was Congresswoman Maxine Waters -- because I'm now seeing people on other networks, on other, in other media outlets, calling her out from every political stripe, and even with no political stripe. Both sides can come to the table now and admit that they've made mistakes.

ELROD: Agree.

FAULKNER: Congresswoman Maxine Waters though called for the attacks of those people with whom you don't agree. Which, by the way, what the heck is she doing for the people in her district she represents? Is she not advocating for them, because she would represent everybody? There's a whole lot of meat on the bone, politically that I think we can chomp at. But in the meantime, how do we get to a space where when the president shows up in Wisconsin and the crowd, not him, the crowd is screaming “lock her up,” on a day that Hillary Clinton's -- and her family have had something mailed to them. They didn't receive it, but mailed to them. How do we get to a space where our neighbor looks and says “you know, maybe not tonight. Let's hear what the president has to say. And when he leads us into a neutral position, let's follow him and lets listen to his words.” It's on all of us, Adrienne.
