JESSE WATTERS (CO-HOST): So when the Cold War ended, we basically pushed the Saudis into the hands of the Russians with this stupid Iran deal. The Saudis hate the Iranians, the Israelis hate the Iranians, but [former President Barack] Obama thought he was so smart and he was going to solve the nuclear crisis in Iran and it really aggravated the Saudis. Trump tried to pull the Saudis back into the American wing and then all of a sudden he [the Saudi government] kills Khashoggi. Trump was smart about it, he figured, you know, it's not worth destroying American energy policy over one killing. I mean, we embrace a lot of worse things than one death.

GERALDO RIVERA (CO-HOST): How about the fifteen of the nineteen hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis?

WATTERS: Geraldo, it's the same deal we've made since 1945.

...

WATTERS: Obviously, they were involved in 9/11, OK? But listen, do you want $10 oil or not? The only other solution, Geraldo, is to de-link the United States from world oil prices and that way we'd have cheap oil in the United States. If you're going to do that, do that. But if you're not, then you're going to have to play the Saudi game.
