MARTHA MACCALLUM (HOST): I just want to put up, Sheryl Sandberg did a study at Facebook, it found 60% of male managers said that they were uncomfortable mentoring, socializing with or working with women in the workplace. So they are not -- this isn't just working alone. They don't want to mentor, they don't want to socialize. That's frightening. 

KAROL MARKOWICZ:  It's really unfortunate. I think it's a real bad side effect of the whole #MeToo movement. And you're right, I don't think that should be where we end up as a culture. But I think the last few years have really terrified men.

MACCALLUM: Absolutely.

MARKOWICZ: And if we could dial that back some, that would be great for all of us, especially for women.
