BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): You've got a Florida mom getting a standing ovation, as you just heard, after calling for a mass exodus from public schools.

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): This as Republican senators push back on the DOJ for looking into threats against school officials, warning it appears to police the speech of parents who have a First Amendment right.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): And here to react is the Fox & Friends weekend crew: Pete Hegseth, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and Will Cain, good morning to all of you. Rachel, I'll start with you. You have nine children. The school system really affects your life. What's your reaction to this?

RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY (CO-HOST, FOX & FRIENDS WEEKEND): She is 100% right, we need a mass exodus from the public school system, but I have a warning, we should not leave without taking our money.

DOOCY: Exactly.

CAMPOS-DUFFY: Remember, our school systems are funded by our money. And so what we need to do is pass laws that attach our money to our child, so we can fund our child's education and not these corrupt systems. She's 100% right. The tentacles are deep. I think it's really hard for us to get into teachers colleges which are funded by our public dollars. But this is really important, I want to leave with one thought before I hand it off: This is by design what's happening to our children in these schools. Vladimir Lenin said, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted." This is what they're doing with our children. It's up to us to remove them from this corrupt system.

DOOCY: And Pete, she makes a good point, you know if we're going to pay these high taxes locally to pay for schools, our money should be attached to our children, but you know our administration would never really go along with that because of the influence of the teachers unions.

PETE HEGSETH (CO-HOST, FOX & FRIENDS WEEKEND): Yeah, that's a tough spot. I agree with Rachel, but in the meantime, if your dollars are not following you, you should still leave, it takes a radical reorientation of your life.
