Apparently, the national debt wasn't piling up quickly enough for Fox News.

On the April 18 edition of Your World, while host Neil Cavuto interviewed “Democratic” pollster Pat Caddell, there appeared an inset of the mounting national debt as it appears on the USDebtClock.org website:

But Cavuto's debt clock was moving much faster than the website's debt clock actually moves. Here's a screenshot of the USDebtClock.org site, with the number Cavuto aired circled in blue:

And here's a live capture of that website, including the debt number, in action shortly after Cavuto's segment aired:

At no point was it noted during the Fox segment that the debt clock was accelerated.

Fox's turbocharged debt clock may be dramatic and eye-catching, but it definitely isn't accurate.
