From the April 7 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): Speaking of a lot going on, this is completely unrelated. According to the federal government, the new unemployment rate in the United States has fallen to 4.5 percent. Good News.
AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): That's good news.
PETE HEGSETH (CO-HOST): Wow, that is great news.
DOOCY: It says, "hiring slowed sharply in March with just 98,000 new jobs --
EARHARDT: You mentioned this earlier--
DOOCY: but the new unemployment rate: 4.5.
EARHARDT: That reminds me of something you talked about during commercial break. It's going to be interesting to see what the favorability monitors--
DOOCY: The president's approval rating.
EARHARDT: [What his] approval rating looks like in a week.
DOOCY: Probably going to go up.
HEGSETH: Well yeah, and that's not why you do anything like this, but if you show decisive leadership people appreciate that. If jobs are coming back, you're nominating a Supreme Court justice that will be confirmed today, that's progress.
DOOCY: Today could be the most successful day thus far of the Trump presidency.
