BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Kris, we have a little bit of news. A judge -- it's not good news for you. Judge tossed this Kansas proof of citizenship voter law. So get this, if you bring -- you wanted people to have to bring ID to vote, and this judge says no you don't have to.

KRIS KOBACH (KANSAS SECRETARY OF STATE): So our law says you have to prove citizenship when you register, and this opinion is a very extreme one, which I think will not stand on appeal. She basically takes a position I'm not aware of any other federal judge in America taking, that it is unconstitutional for a state to require proof of citizenship. Even the Ninth Circuit, the liberal Ninth Circuit rejected that argument 10 years ago. So I'm pretty confident on appeal the state of Kansas will prevail.

KILMEADE: Yeah. There are laws that are hard to figure out, this was not one of them. But they got it wrong, it seems.
