STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): Ed just indicated that the real reason the president got rid of [former FBI Director] James Comey was because he was not doing a good job. There are stories out this morning as well that apparently the president questioned Mr. Comey's loyalty and judgment, and he was really angry that Mr. Comey would not investigate the leaks that we've heard so much about or his wiretapping claims. And Mr. Trump came up with a plan on how to do this while watching television over the weekend at Bedminister when he was watching the Sunday shows. He said I've got an idea. And then the next day [Deputy Attorney General] Mr. Rod Rosenstein came in on an item unrelated and they talked about it they came up with a letter the next day. And the next day after that Mr. Comey was gone.
