From the June 6 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): I think that what they would say is -- and picking the national anthem was probably a huge mistake -- was, “We don't like the way law enforcement acts towards minorities in America and that's the way we're standing up to it." Do you think that could lead to a conversation with this administration?
CANDACE OWENS (DIRECTOR OF URBAN ENGAGEMENT, TURNING POINT USA): I don't take that problem to be one of the big problems that is facing the black community, OK? We had 16 unarmed black men that were shot and killed by law enforcement last year. The bigger problem is black-on-black crime. Until they're willing to actually talk about the deeper issues that are rooted in our communities, I will not take seriously this war on our police officers who in fact save black lives.
