ROB FINNERTY (HOST): So I love the 2028 conversation, by the way. You know, George Washington, that was just — he was not in great health, and he served two terms and people honored that. But people — President Grant, President Roosevelt, number one, Teddy Roosevelt wanted to serve. He ran for a third term. Bull Moose Party wasn't successful. FDR, of course, served — well, was elected four times. And then Harry Truman took over and was elected.

Do I think Donald Trump is going to run again in four years? I don't know. I think part of this is what he's so good at, probably the best we've seen. He's trolling the legacy media and he's trolling Democrats because if he talks about 2028, suddenly he's not a lame duck.

And I think that's powerful because people now are talking about Trump 2028. I think, to a certain extent, people like Marco Rubio and JD Vance, maybe people that have got 2028 circled on their own calendars are like, wait a second, is he going to run? Well, he can't do it. According to the U.S. Constitution.

There are ways around that. We had Alan Dershowitz on not long ago and he talked about some of the methods that could be employed if he decided to move forward with that. I don't think he's going to do it, but I think by floating that out there as sort of a trial balloon, I think it's catnip for the legacy media. And they talk about it. They were talking about it today.

BATYA UNGAR-SARGON (HOST): Yeah. They were. I was relieved that he seemed not willing to sort of go there, if you will, completely. Because I agree with you. I don't think he's going to run. But I also agree with you that it's one of these great troll the libs, you know, quivers in his — you know, arrows in his quiver or what have you. I do think that he is a very unifying president, despite what the Democrats and the media want you to believe.
