JOE SCARBOROUGH: Melania [Trump] actually outperformed and then, of course, the questions about the speech, which, I'm sorry, if anybody believes that she's like Bartleby the Scrivener and she's in the back writing this down herself --

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Well, unfortunately she said so.

SCARBOROUGH: Yeah, unfortunately she said so. I think this is another classic example of a campaign that's not built out. It was like the Star of David controversy a few weeks ago, they needed somebody to review everything that got put out. It's the same thing with this speech. We had somebody that works with us saying “well they should fire somebody except they have nobody to fire.”

BRZEZINSKI: Exactly.

SCARBOROUGH: Because they haven't built out the campaign yet.
