Fox News Host On Trump's Budget Gutting Public Broadcasting: “More Killing, Less Kermit”
From the March 16 edition of Fox News’ The Five:
KIMBERLY GUILFOYLE (CO-HOST): Also on the chopping block is the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supports public stations including PBS and NPR. Some people are outraged by these cuts, but shouldn't Big Bird be able to survive in the real world and free market without taxpayer dollars paying for it? I think so. I think so. All right, so Big Bird, Little Bird, do you think Big Bird would be able to survive in the real world?
GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): It’s high time. It’s a priority. Military should come before Muppets. More killing, less Kermit. More bombs, less Bert and Ernie. By the way, let's talk about Big Bird and why you should give the bird to Big Bird. Most overrated character in all of Sesame Street.
GUTFELD: You were the first person to hate on the Muppets.
ERIC BOLLING (CO-HOST): I did. They were communist, I told you.
