Fox's Brian Kilmeade falsely claims Republicans want to fix Obamacare
The Trump administration supports overturning Obamacare and Republican lawmakers have repeatedly voted to repeal it
From the April 12 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Sir, why don't you stand up for a second. What's your name?
AUDIENCE MEMBER: Jim.
KILMEADE: Jim, you said you -- the Republicans, yeah -- “Medicare for All” might not be your thing, but Republicans got to have something, right?
AUDIENCE MEMBER: Yeah, I'm anxious to hear what the alternative plan is because I can't afford Obamacare. I mean, it's more than double any mortgage I have ever had.
KILMEADE: But when you have nothing on the Republican side except for fixing Obamacare, is that OK?
AUDIENCE MEMBER: No. I mean, I got to hear the alternative. You know, I'm hoping it's going to be better because what we have is not good.
