Breitbart editor: “How would you feel if you were killed in action and your wife or your girlfriend used that opportunity to attack the president?”

Raheem Kassam: Sgt. Johnson's widow Myeshia Johnson “got whipped up into this frenzy by [Rep.] Frederica Wilson, now it's too late, and now it's off the rails”

From the October 24 edition of SiriusXM Patriot's Breitbart News Daily:

RAHEEM KASSAM (HOST): I have a lot to say on the issue, and I'm just not sure it's polite to do so. But I think there are forces acting disgracefully and besmirching the reputation and the name of a dead serviceman there, and it ain't President Trump doing that, right? It's on the other side.

CALLER: I was a soldier for 16 years of my life, and trust me --

KASSAM: Charles, how would you -- how would you feel -- how would you feel, I know this is a personal question and you don't have to answer it if you don't want to -- but how would you feel if you were killed in action and your wife or your girlfriend used that opportunity to attack the president of the United States.

CALLER: Inappropriate.

KASSAM: It's mortifying to me. And I know some people are going to come out and say, “Oh, Raheem Kassam, Breitbart editor, attacking a widow live on Breitbart News Daily.” It's not that. I'm not attacking her. She can do what she wants. It's her free speech, she can use it the way she wants.

[...]

I don't think the widow probably had any intention to use it for that. She got whipped up into this frenzy by Frederica Wilson, and now it's too late, now it's off the rails. It's outrageous. It's unbelievable.
