Breitbart To Beck: “Just Tell The Truth”

Andrew Breitbart has a message for Glenn Beck: “apologize” and “tell the truth.”

On his Twitter, Breitbart wrote that when Beck “started publicly dissing me on radio, as I drove son to school, I said enough.” Breitbart added: “The Truth Has No Agenda: Just tell the truth, @GlennBeck. I don't need on-air compliments. Just truth about July 20, 2010."

The spat stems from Breitbart's belief that “Glenn Beck threw me under the bus” over the Shirley Sherrod story. Breitbart reportedly told the New York Observer: “Next thing I know, I'm under complete attack without the support of Glenn Beck, who I thought was somebody I could count on ... He threw me under the bus.”

On July 20, 2010, as Ben Dimiero noted, Beck went on his radio program and promoted Breitbart's edited Sherrod tape and claimed it was evidence of Sherrod “discriminating against white farmers.” Beck appeared on his Fox News program that night and supported Sherrod. Beck has since tried to rewrite history to claim he didn't promote the tape.

In 2009, Beck cited Breitbart as one of the “great journalists of our time.”
