Radio host and President Donald Trump confidante Michael Savage took to his radio show to brag about being invited to “a huge diplomatic luncheon coming up at the end of April in the White House with the president of France and a huge contingent of diplomats.” Savage appears to be referring to the scheduled state visit on April 24 when Trump will host French President Emmanuel Macron. From the March 27 edition of Westwood One’s The Savage Nation:
MICHAEL SAVAGE (CO-HOST): I swear to God, I just got an email just now, I may as well share it with you because I'm going. I would be a fool not to go. There is a huge diplomatic luncheon coming up at the end of April in the White House with the president of France and a huge contingent of diplomats, and diplomatic staff, and who else, I don't even know, that the White House invited me to it, and I'm going. I'm going to Washington, D.C. I’m going to go to the aeronautics and space museum, I'm going to go to the great -- the great art gallery -- the Portrait Gallery, visit some relatives, all at the end of April.
