Still whining about O'Keefe coverage, Breitbart won't address the ACORN “pimp” lie

Professional right-wing media victim Andrew Breitbart took some time from his CPAC visit to whine incoherently about MSNBC's coverage of James O'Keefe's recent New Orleans arrest.

What Breitbart won't talk about though, is how last year he purposefully pushed the bogus claim that O'Keefe was dressed as a pimp while inside ACORN offices; a key media talking point.

From Breitbart's Sept. 21, 2009 WashTimes column [emphasis added]:

When filmmaker and provocateur James O'Keefe came to my office to show me the video of him and his friend, Hannah Giles, going to the Baltimore offices of ACORN - the nation's foremost “community organizers” - dressed as a pimp and a prostitute and asking for - and getting - help for various illegal activities, he sought my advice.

Just so yo know, Breitbart made that part up. But now he's lecturing MSNBC about how dishonest it is, and demanding the press post corrections.

Priceless!

UPDATED: Honestly, I don't think “incoherent” does justice to Breitbart's loony, rambling, dorm-room-bull-session comments he makes to Politico, as he pontificates about the ways of the world. Go watch the clip.

UPDATED: O'Keefe himself -- after getting permission from his parole officer -- arrived at CPAC and also whined to Politico about unfair media coverage of him.

To date though, O'Keefe, like his mentor Breitbart, remains silent about the ACORN pimp lie which was recently exposed. (Sadly, no Politico video of O'Keefe.)
