Flashback: Bill Sammon's Summer Reading List

In the summer of 2006, reporter Bill Sammon -- who now serves as Fox News' Washington managing editor -- gave the Examiner.com his summer reading list (via DCist), which included conservative polemics by David Horowitz and Ann Coulter:

Bill Sammon
Senior White House Correspondent, Washington Examiner

“The Professors: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America,” by David Horowitz. With three children in college this fall, I'm appalled at what passes for knowledge at our institutions of higher learning.

“Godless: The Church of Liberalism,” by Ann Coulter. Ann was such a delightful guest of the Examiner at the White House Correspondents Association. I'm really looking forward to her newest book.

In an interview with Howard Kurtz in December, Sammon expressed surprise that people would accuse him of taking a conservative viewpoint, stating: “Have I said things where I take a conservative view? Give me specifics.”
