BILL O'REILLY (HOST): I think that Governor Pence has a lot of credibility with the American people in both parties. Would you agree that Governor Pence has credibility?
AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: Has had credibility, yes.
O'REILLY: Okay.
GOOLSBEE: There is a certain element of the Republican Party that -- they're questioning Trump, but thus far they have put some faith in Pence.
O'REILLY: Yeah, OK, so Pence has gravitas. I hate that word, but it -- he has gravitas because he ran the state of Indiana well, and he comes across as a sober politician.
GOOLSBEE: I don't know about that, but --
O'REILLY: Well, his approval rating --
GOOLSBEE: I agree with that second part, but I don't know about the first.
O'REILLY: His approval rating -- look, you are in Illinois, which is going to collapse any second, by the way. Sell your house.
GOOLSBEE: Well, I got a good view of Indiana from here, you can see Indiana from my house.
O'REILLY: Yeah, and let me give you some facts that Governor Pence is a very popular governor in both parties, in that -- in Indiana, and he ran the economy there very well, and those are facts. Whereas your State of Illinois is going to collapse.
