MARK LEVIN (HOST): Now if you're an individual and you're facing a Stalinist enterprise like this, whether your name is Steve Bannon or anything else, it's irrelevant -- that you're concerned because this committee is also colluding with the United States Department of Justice, so it's using Stalinist tactics, It's violating the Constitution. It's a quasi-criminal investigative enterprise, and you make yourself available to that committee, if you don't toe the line, well, you could be facing a very very serious jail time.
So the idea that Judge Carl Nichols wouldn't even allow counsel to have additional time as they begin negotiating with the House committee, on the say-so of the Department of Justice, and the idea that he blithely says, well, you can work out some of these issues, you know, on jury selection, I guess he didn't see the Michael Sussman case, or he was blind to it.
We'll be monitoring this judge very, very carefully in this trial. I'm no special pleader for Steve Bannon. I haven't talked to him in years and years and years. So that's quite beside the point too, but I know injustice when I see it. I know injustice when I see it.
