NEIL CAVUTO (HOST): You know Amber, I'm wondering what you make, I know it's a different case. Last night when the president was in Montana, he actually heaped praise on Congressman Greg Gianforte, the man who assaulted a journalist and commended the body slam. His timing wasn't exactly good to be reminding folks of this in the middle of the whole Khashoggi thing. What did you think of that?

AMBER SMITH (GUEST): The timing was not great. And in this country, we value the freedom of the press. We value journalists and we know just how dangerous their jobs is. They put themselves in harms way every day to report on some serious --

CAVUTO: You think the president believes that?

SMITH: I think the president does. I think that in these rallies, he is on the campaign trail, he tries to, you know, energize the crowd and unfortunately he said something that was super bad timing with everything that we're seeing out of the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. But I do think that the president respects the First Amendment and the freedom of the press. And it just was just worded poorly in my opinion.
