MARK HALPERIN: His standing in states that would get him 265 electoral votes is better than his standing in the national polls. He still doesn't have a path today to 270 or even 265, but he's not deteriorated as badly in the battleground states. He just hasn't. But he's behind and there's no obvious way to win, but with a surge -- if there is some sort of hidden Trump vote -- he's in the game in a lot of these states.

JASON MILLER: Well, a couple of things, actually. Halperin is one of the -- he gets closer to the pin than many in the mainstream media, so I like Mark. Here is what Mark is discounting there, or maybe that's part of a longer clip you may have gone into -- you look at poll after poll and Hillary is consistently stuck in the low, maybe mid-40s on a good day.
