Even Laura Ingraham Concedes Benghazi Lawsuit Is Without Merit

From the August 9 edition of Fox News' On The Record with Greta Van Susteren:

Video file

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN (HOST): So what do you think of this lawsuit?

LAURA INGRAHAM: I think it's going to be very difficult to demonstrate the causes of action they allege. They allege defamation against them. And the defamation is based on that Hillary Clinton said that they misheard her when she said it was caused by the video, and we’re going to get to the bottom of the guy who made the video, obviously the tech in Benghazi. They allegedly said intentional infliction of emotional distress and, you know, other causes of action like that. And I think unless they have some smoking gun emails, which I don't think they have they cited a lot of columns and so forth that are on various websites, but I think it's very difficult to prove that Hillary's actions were the proximate cause or direct cause of the deaths of your sons. Given what we know now, given what the committees have produced but maybe there is some documents out there that would make it easier.

[…]

VAN SUSTEREN: I’m with you, you know I think -- my heart bleeds for these parents. Heart bleeds for these parents, but I don't see them being successful. I don't even see this getting to a jury.
