NEIL CAVUTO (HOST): What about conservative institutions that score [Trump’s tax plan]? And you’re right, their math is all over the place, it's going to cost $10 trillion at a minimum the next ten years and drive us deeper into the red. You say what?

STEVE MOORE: I say every time you increase the economic growth rate by 1 percentage point -- I'm going to give you a little math here, Neil -- 1 percentage point increase in economic growth, which we can do because we’ve been stuck in this rut, you reduce the deficit by $3 trillion over a decade. So, if we go from 2 percent growth to 4 percent, wham, we have just reduced the budget deficit by $6 trillion. We can do this. We can cut taxes, balance the budget, and start retiring this debt, but growth is the key. Growth is the key, can’t get anywhere without growth.
