Newsmax's Greg Kelly on Iran war: “If we're bombing now, peace is not out of the question pretty soon”

GREG KELLY (HOST): He's got a way with words and everything else. Darin Gaub, your sense of this operation that seems to be in full swing right now.
DARIN GAUB (GUEST): Yeah. Greg, I'll start with concurring with Walid. I think that's pretty close to what we're looking at as well. And I will tell you from a military perspective, one thing that's been happening the entire time, of course, during this naval blockade is that we've been refining and and developing the intelligent picture for the nation all over again, you know, making no assumptions. And what we could very well be targeting initially here is what's left that we need to make sure that we can guarantee our dominance again. Let's go back in and see if there's any air defense systems that are left. Are there any missile launch sites left? Are there drone factories or drone launch sites as well? Did we miss something with nuclear, or have they tried to dig it out again for some reason. You know, if our intelligence is show showing that stuff is happening, that's the first thing you do in order to free up space again and reduce risk to go in there heavier with more aircraft and do bigger things and bring in, by the way, things like B-52 bombers potentially. Things that are higher flying, a little slower, potentially easier to target if Iran had something hidden that they brought out. So that would be a prudent measure would be to start a little bit small, send the message that Waleed is talking about. And as you expand it and you reduce the risk over the period of time that they're taking right now, then we wait and we see what happens with Iran in general. And if we can — if we have to expand it, we can because we've reduced the threat again.
KELLY: Wow. Alright. Well and, if we're bombing now, peace is not out of the question pretty soon.
Is this a mop up? You ever hear that term mop up? A mop up operation, Walid?
WALID PHARES (GUEST): Yes. I mean, as long as the president has the intention to get to a deal, but the deal is not any deal. It's really a deal that would be practically speaking a way out for the regime to surrender in slices, to surrender the weapons, to surrender the capabilities, the nuclear dust, so on and so forth. That is the real deal that the president is looking forward to achieve. If not, we'll get to the same objectives in different means.
