TIM POOL (HOST): Tucker Carlson is wrong, and this reeks of just fake to me.
I do not believe for a second that Tucker Carlson is sincere. And I'm going to break down exactly why, but I'll start just by saying this, and then I'll play the video for you. Tucker Carlson's been friends with Trump for a very, very, very long time — was at the White House not even that long ago and has the ability to call him on the phone.
Now that being said, I find it hard to believe that Tucker, after years — I mean, what? A decade, two decades of being friends with Donald Trump, just all of a sudden is like, oh, you know, I don't like Trump anymore. I suppose, but Tucker is not that kind of guy. You know? Tucker is a schemer. You know what I mean? To reference the Joker. And I'm not saying that somewhat — I'm not trying to be overly disparaging to Tucker Carlson, but, he's a smart man. He is a calculating individual. He knows what he's doing. There is a distinction between his public and private personas, and we learned that from the Dominion lawsuits, and we learned that from the 2020 election where, although the left certainly exaggerated it, Tucker's public statement somewhat different from what he was saying behind the scenes about Donald Trump.

So, for Tucker Carlson to tell Trump, shut up, bitch. I don't take you seriously, reeks as fake in a variety of ways. Either he was always a fake person who never actually was friends with Donald Trump, or he's being fake now for clicks and for views because here you go. It's working.
