PEPE FORTE [PODCASTER]: These circumstances, to me, are truly troubling. What do I mean? I’m referring to the schism, or relative schism, that’s taking place within the Democratic Party, that once the Democratic party, which has been becoming increasingly liberal. It’s a phenomenon that, at least to start pinpointing where it began, let’s say, goes back a bit further, but let’s say it began with Obama. It’s been three administrations since Obama left office. The fact is that the Democratic Party, becoming increasingly liberal, channeled and allowed, in an effort precisely to strengthen its base, the emergence of these elements, as in the case of Angie Nixon, who have now finally finished, albeit mimetically, revealing themselves as socialists, when in reality we know they're communists. What happened in Cuba, even during the Batista era in the 1950s, is that the Communist Party as such wasn’t labeled as such. Instead, it was simply called the Popular Socialist Party. But they were communists. These people are exactly the same.

FORTE: All of a sudden, they let these sharks in. I say sharks because I have a metaphor here: you can’t invite a shark to your pool party, because no matter how much the shark tells you it’s a vegetarian, within five minutes someone at your pool party is going to be missing their legs. And that’s exactly what’s been happening here. They invited these sharks to the Democratic Party’s pool party, and suddenly these sharks started to grow, to get out of control. Take Mamdani, take AOC, take Bernie Sanders, whoever it is. So now —
JORGE DIAZ-DIAZ [HOST]: There are several, there are a lot, right?
FORTE: They’re starting to fear that the original, extremely liberal Democratic base, the one that gave them their opportunity, will take ground away from them.
